OUR FAVOURITE LOCAL PLACES
TO EAT AND DRINK

Add to the neighbourhood with your own restaurant/bar in this wonderful high traffic street corner commercial space!

We don’t know about you, but one of our favourite things to do is EAT + DRINK AND BE MERRY, especially in Puerto Vallarta where the culinary scene is hot!

Here’s a list of some of our go to spots for different occasions:

Across the Street

Balan Balan
On the banks of the River Cuale, enjoy traditional coal roasted whole fish at Balan Balan.

The Greasy Gourmet
A Canadian owned restaurant that provides high end comfort food and some of the best fries in Puerto Vallarta.

El Cucon
Offers Mexican dishes with a fantastic presentation as well as their “Agua del dia”, a blend of water with hibiscus, lime and cucumber, guayaba which includes free refills.

Across the Bridge

La Fina
An amazing mexicano spot just across the River Cuale bridge where you’ll find a cozy spot for dinner and cocktails. We LOVE the shrimp ravioli and the fresh baked bread to soak up all of the delicious sauce.

Quack Grill
A good spot for ribs but tell the waiter to hold the salt and put the sauce on the side!

Fine Dining

La Cappella
Enjoy an Italian and international menu with live music while taking in the sunset. This restaurant does impose a dress code so don’t expect to get in with your beachwear and flip-flops.

El Set

A short cab ride up the hill will bring you to the historic El Set where you can enjoy a meal with one of the most stunning views of the ocean overlooking the beach where Liz Taylor and Richard Burton filmed Night of the Iguana.

Hacienda del Angel
Offers view of Bandaras Bay, the Sierra Madres, the town and the evening fireworks. Shirt collars are required (no beachwear) and no children under four years of age.

The Iguana Restaurant & Tequila Bar

Located in Casa Kimberly once owned by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. This open-air restaurant overlooks Bandaras Bay and the city.

Tintoque
A five-minute walk from Casa Marigold, Tintoque offers a riverside dining experience offering a true experience for refined pallets and those looking for a unique experience.

Barcelona Tapas
Beautiful view from the rooftop, if you go on a Saturday night you’ll enjoy fireworks! We love the paella and sangria.

Coffee + Brunch

Xocodiva
Best frappé in PV, cute vibes and amazing chocolates.

Puerto Café
The creamiest oat latte, stop here for a coffee to walk down the malecon.

Café Calmate
